How Would These Individuals Use the Tools?
- After customizing the tools, readers often experience more visual comfort when reading.
- As a result of text line isolation, individuals with disabilities will be able to improve their attention, focus, comprehension, and retention of content read.
- Also, individuals with disabilities can often use the tools to read for longer periods with more visual comfort and focusing support.
- What’s more, readers can benefit from using the tools with e-readers and tablets to read e-books, course work, tests and more. As a result, this can provide increased focus, comprehension and retention of content. (With this application, a protective film is recommended for device screens to prevent scratching.)
Examples
- After selecting the preferred reading filter color provided for each tool, users will experience improved visual comfort when reading books, documents and more.
- In addition, users can isolate 1-2 lines of text (depending on font size) with each hand-held tool. As a result, surrounding text not needing immediate attention will be covered. Moreover, this will decrease distractions as well as improve focus, comprehension, and retention of content read.
- Also, readers will experience improved focus when reading e-books and other digital media on e-readers, tablets, and other hardware. (Please place a protective film on tech device screens to prevent scratches.)
